Elah

Elah son of Baasha became king over Israel in the 26th year of Asa king of Judah and reigned 2 years in Tirzah 1 Kings 16:8. While Elah was drinking in the house of Arza, Zimri, commander of half his chariots, conspired against him and killed him 1 Kings 16:9-10.

Zimri took the throne and struck down all the house of Baasha, leaving no male relative or friend, in keeping with the word Yahweh had spoken against Baasha by Jehu the prophet 1 Kings 16:11-13.
