Jehoram

Jehoram, also called Joram, was son of Ahab and began to reign over Israel in Samaria in the 18th year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah 2 Kings 3:1. He reigned 12 years, did evil in Yahweh's sight, removed the pillar of Baal that Ahab had made, and still clung to the sins of Jeroboam I 2 Kings 3:1-3.

After Moab rebelled, Jehoram went out with Jehoshaphat of Judah and the king of Edom against Moab, and Elisha announced Yahweh's help because of Jehoshaphat 2 Kings 3:4-20. The campaign pushed Moab back until the king of Moab offered his eldest son on the wall, after which great wrath came against Israel and the army withdrew 2 Kings 3:21-27.

Later Joram was wounded fighting Hazael of Syria at Ramoth gilead and went to Jezreel to heal, where Ahaziah of Judah came to see him 2 Kings 8:28-29. Jehu found him at Jezreel, shot him with an arrow, and had his body thrown into the field of Naboth 2 Kings 9:14-26.
